Read an article on Mas Selamat in today's paper "The Straits Times", wow....8 pages of it, trying to explain to the whole of Singapore what had actually happened that resulted in the escape of Mas Selamat in that 11 minutes. To summarize the entire thing, I can only use 1 word to describe – “vulnerable’.
“Vulnerable”!!! They have to accept whatever the public has to say, no point pointing fingers at the vulnerable people that are involved directly. To me, it just reflects very badly to start picking those people that had failed in their duties. It’s not just these people, it actually represent the entire unit.The entire unit represent the security defense of Singapore. No use crying over spill milk, move on, it will be soon forgotten as we have more things to worry about like the recession, GST increment etc. By the way, where have our taxes gone to?
